Lion King production
What a fantastic week - in the final week of term, the Year 5/6 children put on an amazing performance of The Lion King for parents and children to enjoy. There was fantastic singing, great acting, drumming, and even a dew dance moves. A marvellous end to the year.

Primary School Games
What a great day today! 16 children took part in the annual Primary Games, where the top 8 performing schools in Ashfield faced off in sporting competitions throughout the day.
Having qualified by finishing 4th in the primary medal table and gaining the 2nd highest medal haul overall, we looked forward to celebrating a fantastic year of sporting competition at Edgewood by competing with similar schools.

Edgewood Sports Week - Monday
Edgewood Sports Week -
The weather held off today and allowed the children to enjoy the sunshine as well as the activities on offer.
Y5/6 enjoyed a day of climbing and slacklining. A lot of children faced their fears on the climbing wall, whether going up or putting their feet over the edge on the way down! Slacklining proved to be really popular, as children were finding interesting ways to gracefully dismount the tightrope! During some downtime, the children even managed to involve Mr Tidd in a competitive game of Nine Square!
