Children in school this week in Year 5/6 have been taking part in an enterprise challenge. They have researched, planned and designed a range of games to entertain people. There is a whole range of board games coming out, and some are even ready to play.
During the second half of the autumn term, our main area of study will be the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings in Britain. This history study of the period between the departure of the Romans in AD 410, and the Norman invasion by William the Conqueror will include the Viking raids on England, the spread of Christianity and the important characters of the period such as Alfred the Great and Edward the Confessor.
