On Tuesday 14th June, Year 6 students visited Nottingham Trent University as part of the university's outreach programme. The day explored the experience of life at a university, and made comparisons for the children with their impending transition to secondary school. We found out about the various courses and activities available at universities across the country, before taking a tour around the campus to see sights such as the library, sporting facilities, canteens and accommodation blocks. Throughout the day the children worked with existing NTU students to find out what life is like as a student - including lazy mornings!
