Day 1 and 2 Year 5/6 Residential to Kingswood @ Peak Venture

The children have made a great start to their residential trip to Kingswood.

The first day started with a trip down a coal mine at the National Mining Museum.  All the children ejoyed the ride down and back in the cage lift and crawling through the replica tunnels from the different eras of coal mining in the UK.  They were also praised by a parent on the adventure playground for their excellent behaviour in letting other children have a go ahead of them.

We then went on the Kingswood with our first activities that evening and a camp fire singing songs, telling jokes and roasting marshmallows!

For day 2 we have all been doing a range of activities inside and out including Jacob's Ladder, bouldering, night line, orienteering and fencing.  The thing that has made all the adults so proud is that all the children have been trying every activity and challenging themselves.

I will upload some pictures to the website but for now please look on our social media pages for more regular picture updates.
