Edgewood Primary School is a larger than average primary school situated in Hucknall.

High performing teams are an important part of any successful organisation and something we use to our advantage at Edgewood.  We operate mixed-year classes and organise our school into teams of three classes.  By working in teams, each child gets ideas from at least three teachers and the teaching assistants in that team.  It also allows staff to share tasks, such as planning, meaning they can spend their time more effectively improving the impact on your child's education.

We are a popular school and do have a waiting list in some year groups so if you are a prospective parent please call to see if we have places in your child's year.  Please look at the statutory information on our website for lots of the information you need, but also look at our starter pack pages for the basic policies and information particularly relevant to prospective parents (uniform, behaviour, school times etc.).  If you are a prospective nursery parent, then please also read the nursery admissions policy and contact the office if you have any questions.
