Thank you to all of the family members and friends that sponsored pupils to take part in the Sport Relief Mile last week. Every child took part in the charity walk/jog/run/roll/skip. In addition, we had a very colourful school with cricketers, footballers, swimmers and even boxers represented on the day!
So far (donations are still coming in), the total for our school has reached over £1,500. An incredible total!
Last night, the Yr 5/6 boys pulled off an amazing peformance at the Boy's Futsal District Final. It was a great experience from the whole team. They won the tournament, unbeaten for all the games, winning 4 and drawing 1. The final game was quite intense, as they were playing for the gold medal. They won 4-0 courtesy of Charlie Stenson's hattrick and Archie Shooter's last minute goal. The team left smiling, with gold medals hanging around their necks.

This week, pupils in year 5 and 6 have signed up for a chance to represent the school in a District Table Tennis competition. The children will compete against other Edgewood pupils over the next couple of weeks to establish a 4-pupil team.
Good luck to all pupils involved! Get practising!
The children are busy learning the dance routine ready for the Gym and Dance Festival next week, with help from Mr MacLeod and Mrs Moore! Enjoy the festival!
