Ofsted Letter March 2020
We are pleased to announce that the letter from our recent Ofsted inspection has now been published. It should be live on Ofsted's website today and can be read here, http://www.edgewoodprimaryschool.co.uk/sites/default/files/10121261%20Edgewood%20Primary%20and%20Nursery%20School%20122587%20Final%20PDF.pdf
Kingswood 2018
The children are having a great time at Kingswood; eating lots and enjoying a range of activities.
We are still struggling with Wi-Fi that is only working for short periods at random times and on very limited bandwidth so please bear with us if there are less photos than in previous years - we are trying our best. All the children are here and have really impressed us with how well they are taking part and how they are having a go and being really resilient with the activities.
Day 1
Online safety and social media use
It has come to our attention this week that many of our children have accounts, pages and channels on various online or social media platforms. The age-limits for these platforms is usually 13 and in some cases, 16.
Parents Coffee Morning
At 9am each Thursday morning, this is an opportunity to come and have coffe and a chat with Mr Seeley to discuss topics you would like more information about or a school perspective upon.
We meet in the Leisure Centre seating area so please come around to the Leisure Centre entrance and I will let you in.
This first meeting will be discussing Vocabulary Ninja!

The school’s position on Edgewood Pool and Leisure Centre
The school would like to see the pool at Edgewood remain open.
Policies
As part of our new website you will find all our relevant school policies easily accessible in school information.
The leadership of the school, including our governing body, take our time to make sure these policies are as thorough and easy to understand as we can so please make sure you read them. If you are short of time can I ask that you read the three that probably most often cause misunderstandings in school. These are the behaviour policy, attendance policy and parental concerns process.
